Ireland’s Health Service Executive receives top honors for its coaching program.
Lexington, Kentucky, USA- The International Coach Federation (ICF) named Ireland’s Health Service Executive the winner of the 2018 ICF International Prism Award during a ceremony at the Human Capital Institute’s Learning and Leadership Development Conference on September 26, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
The ICF International Prism Award program honors organizations that have achieved the highest standard of excellence in coaching programs that yield discernible and measurable positive impacts, fulfill rigorous professional standards, address key strategic goals, and shape organizational culture.
To be eligible for a Prism Award, the organization must be nominated by an ICF-credentialed coach.
The Health Service Executive was nominated by Irene Harris, ACC, for their resilience in changing the organization by building a strong coaching culture.
“Ireland’s Health Service Executive offers a great example of a systemic approach to coaching,” said ICF CEO/Executive Director Magdalena Nowicka Mook. “Always keen to expand its learning and development supports for staff, this organization recognized coaching as an emerging positive intervention with the potential to advance the organization, improve performance, support leaders and develop staff. The support for this initiative is overwhelming and the sheer number of people who already benefited from coaching is very significant. We congratulate them for winning this year’s Prism Award.”
