The ICF Professional Coaches Board of Directors is a body of elected members who govern the affairs or the organization, which is a membership association for trained, professional coach practitioners. Its purpose is to lead the global advancement of the coaching profession through its members and chapters worldwide. The Board of Directors is comprised of no more than nine members who are nominated based on competencies of exceptional boards. Each director serves a two-year term, with a maximum of two terms.

ICF Members in good standing are eligible to vote for candidates who are seeking open positions on the 2025 ICF Professional Coaches Global Board of Directors. All members are encouraged to participate in the election process by reviewing the candidates’ information and making an informed choice. Your voice is important in the process, and ICF thanks you for participating.
All ICF Members in good standing were emailed their 2025 election ballot on November 1, 2024. If you did not receive a ballot by November 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EST (New York), please email research@coachingfederation.org.
Each member’s ballot is individualized. Do not forward your ballot to others, and do not use someone else’s ballot to vote.
The deadline to submit your ballot is 11:59 p.m. EST (New York) on November 15, 2024.
The ICF Professional Coaches Nominating Committee has completed a thorough review of the candidates and has nominated the following.
The Nominating Committee selected the following candidate for the office ICF Professional Coaches Global Board of Directors Chair. The candidate will run unopposed.
Manbir is an executive and leadership coach with over 28 years of tech industry experience. She helps senior leaders and business owners in tech become transformational leaders who drive meaningful impact. Named one of 15 visionary C-Suite coaches by US Reporter, Manbir understands the challenges tech leaders face and helps them create transformations using HUMAN leadership principles through shifts in mindset and conversations.
Her corporate experience includes managing global teams at fintech firms like Fiserv Inc. and Oracle India. An ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) with 12,000+ hours of coaching experience, she has authored two leadership books and currently serves as ICF’s Professional Coaches Global Board’s Vice Chair.
The following candidates were selected to serve for a second term as ICF Professional Coaches Global Board Directors. No vote is required for these positions.
Jihane, a multicultural executive coach, cultivates an inclusive coaching method to empower corporate leaders and teams. With a diverse mindset, she encourages collaboration and magnifies impact on a global scale. A doctoral candidate in Education and AI, she holds an MBA and a master’s degree in governance and HR. Founder and director of Coachinglab Academy (Level 2 Accredited program), Jihane boasts 12 years as a marketing director in multinationals. She serves as a mentor and assessor, and speaks Arabic, English and French.
Jurgita is a leadership coach and facilitator with 20 years of HR experience in international public and private sector organizations around the world, from startups to publicly listed companies and governmental bodies (e.g. European Parliament). She most recently served as the head of HR for EMEA in a global technology company. Jurgita holds a master’s degree in public administration and post-graduate diploma in business administration. A Lithuanian national, having lived in eight countries over the past 20years, Jurgita identifies as a global citizen.
The Nominating Committee selected the following five (5) candidates to fill the remaining three (3) open Director positions:
Jerry is an experienced leader and coach with a passion for serving others. His core values are to respect everybody, judge no one, learn every day, and laugh often. Jerry has eight years of coaching experience across multiple business sectors, and 36 years of leadership as a civilian executive, military officer, and commander. A first-generation college graduate from a rural upbringing, his professional experience spans three continents, five countries, and a variety of roles and responsibilities. In 2023, Jerry left his military career to pursue his passion for service through coaching, consulting, and speaking on leadership and personal growth.
Soon is an acclaimed coaching leader with more than 25 years of award-winning global leadership experience across Asia, North America, and Europe. His expertise spans finance, technology, education, and government sectors. Soon has served on multiple boards for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including as chairman of a publicly listed company valued at over $1 billion [USD]. Fluent in English and Mandarin, he has held CEO and regional vice president roles in Fortune 500 and private companies. As an adjunct professor at leading Asian universities, Soon focuses on business innovation and coaching the next generation of leaders. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is currently pursuing advanced research studies in coaching and AI at the University of Cambridge.
Faustin is an MBA-educated global C-suite executive, board chair, non-executive director, and board advisor with nearly 40 years of experience in general management and executive commercial roles across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He has worked for blue-chip FMCG companies such as The Heineken Company, The Coca-Cola Company, and British American Tobacco.
With extensive experience in FMCG and public health supply chain strategic advisory services, Faustin is a global citizen, skilled negotiator and a firm believer in mutually beneficial partnerships and innovative solutions. Faustin is a co-active certified professional coach from CTI and holds an ACC from the International Coaching Federation. He is passionate about developing high performing, diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams that drive sustainable growth, maximize positive societal and environmental impact, and deliver shareholder value.
André Politzer, MCC
André, a Master Certified Coach and certified ADR mediator, gained recognition during his executive career for his leadership style, characterized by a strong focus on coaching, authenticity, and vision. Today, he leverages this experience to empower leaders through transformative coaching and mediation, helping them approach challenges with clarity and resilience.
Committed to community impact, André teaches, researches organizational leadership, and serves in advisory roles. He holds an MBA from the University of Paris IX Dauphine, a Master of Science from the Institute of Hospitality Management in Switzerland, and an executive coaching certification from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Marta Terrile, PCC
Marta is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and holds a PhD in Cancer Genetics. As an expat, she values diversity as a key driver of success in any international community. Through emotional intelligence, Marta shapes high-performing teams and fosters inclusive cultures. Her empathetic coaching and 20-plus years of experience empower leaders to excel and innovate in the pharmaceutical industry.
As a PC board director, Marta aspires to research the impact of ICF and to establish practices for ethically integrating AI in coaching. Her unique mix of enthusiasm, international experience, dedication, and technical skills will catalyze positive change. Originally from Genoa, Italy, Marta has lived in Dublin, Ireland, for nearly 15 years.
Completed applications are reviewed by the ICF Professional Coaches Nominating Committee (the members of which can be viewed below) to narrow the field of applicants based on criteria for Board membership, competencies required for the 2025 Board of Directors, and diversity and representation. The committee invites selected applicants to participate in an interview. Once candidates are selected for the ballot, all applicants are notified of their status and an election is held. The results of the election are announced by November 30 annually.

The ICF Professional Coaches Board of Directors is a body of elected members who govern the affairs of the organization. The Board of Directors is responsible for strategic development, policy creation, fiscal and management oversight of the organization. The Board of Directors represent, serve and advocate for more than 40,000 ICF-credentialed coach members worldwide. It is up to the Board of Directors to clearly define its expectations, goals and measures of success based on information and input from ICF staff.

Ideal candidates will have experience leading at the executive level of complex multi-national organizations, have previous board experience (private, public or not-for-profit), and a deep understanding of the ICF ecosystem as well as emerging trends in the coaching profession. A typical work cadence might require up to 10 hours weekly dedicated to project work, meeting attendance, professional networking and advocacy.

The following competencies are universal priorities across all ICF family organization Boards. They are also considered necessary for successful service on the ICFPC Board and are therefore among the most important factors reviewed during the application and interview process:
The Chair of the ICF Professional Coaches Board of Directors is the chief elected officer of the organization and shall serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. The Chair shall also serve as an ex-officio member of all committees. The Chair shall address the membership at proper times to communicate matters and suggestions that may promote the welfare and increase the usefulness of ICF. The Chair shall perform other necessary duties, including duties prescribed by the Board of Directors.
The Chair shall possess the following qualifications in addition to those outlined for the Board of Directors (above), as well as any additional competencies as identified and approved by the ICF Professional Coaches Board of Directors.
